Shashtikasali Pinda Sweda

Shashtikasali Pinda Sweda, also known as Navarakizhi, is a unique Ayurvedic therapy involving the application of a special rice pudding (Shashtika Shali) cooked in Bala Mula Kwatha (herbal decoctions) and Ksheeram (milk). Before Treatment


Before undergoing Shashtikasali Pinda Sweda, a thorough health assessment is conducted to customise the treatment. Shastika Shali Pinda Sweda is performed as Ekangam (on one part of the body) or Sarvangam (on the whole body). A special paste called "Thalam" made of herbs will be applied to the vertex of the head as a cooling measure. The body is then prepped with a gentle oil massage to open the pores and relax the muscles.


After Treatment


A soothing herbal oil is applied to nourish and moisturise the skin. Instructions on post-treatment care are provided to enhance the treatment's effectiveness. Along with this, Shashtikasali Pinda Sweda Ayurveda treatment in Bangalore, also provides lifestyle recommendations, dietary plans, and guidelines on maintaining hydration and following a balanced diet. Suggestions will also be provided, which extend beyond the actual procedure. 



Duration: 60 minutes to 90 minutes.


Combination Therapies: Depending on the disease and its condition there may be combined with Abhyanga, Pizhichil, Upanaha, or Vasti, depending on the disease condition.
